Our friend, and Patsy's breeder/Emma's co-breeder, Kti Jensen (Global Boxers) is a woman of many talents. Aside from her contributions to the Boxer breed, Kti is a phenomenal chef and a skilled artist (her carved wood Boxer sculptures have been a hit at the annual American Boxer Charitable Foundation auctions). For our sixth wedding anniversary in 2007, I commissioned a carving from Kti as my gift to Jer (the theme that year was wood). I knew I'd be getting a treasure, but Kti once again went above and beyond my expectations, creating a piece that is not only aesthetically charming, but also bears a striking resemblance to Emma! The photos can't do true justice to the depth and quality of the piece, but they are presented here as acknowledgment, appreciation, and approbation of Kti's craft.
