Ch. Gin'll's Tribute to Starjax x Cameliard's Morgana le Fay
Elegance: Combining simplicity, power, and a certain ineffable grace of design.
~From Mathematics

Nettie was our foundation bitch, and long reigned as the Queen of our home. She was our supreme puppy manners teacher, as she was patient to a point, and then exceedingly fair in letting the pups know when they had gone too far. She taught us much about how dogs really communicate with each other, and how a true Alpha acts - and is the reason many of our first training books went right out the window. Ever the "momma dog," Nettie always ensured that the other dogs had clean faces and ears, and that they didn't get overly rambunctious with the youngsters. Nettie was very sweet-tempered, and she was happiest when she was in someone's lap. We are fortunate to have two of her granddaughters to carry on her legacy.
We lost Nettie peacefully, in her sleep, in the early hours of a Saturday morning. She was happy and active right up to the end, for which we are very grateful. Nettie died as she lived - with quiet dignity and grace, and on her own terms. She was a grand old lady, a true ambassador for the breed, and we will always cherish the time she spent with us.
Rest easy, sweet girl, until we meet again.
