Dart is the ideal combination of his parents, having Linus' sweetness and Nettie's style. Dart wasn't fully happy sharing his love with so many other dogs, and although we had hoped that he would settle into our pack, we finally came to the heartbreaking realization that he never truly would.

When a retired couple in Ohio decided that, a year after losing their beloved Boxer, it was time to add a new member to their family, Dart seemed like a good candidate. They took him home for a trial weekend - and he stayed. Dart now enjoys a one-acre fenced yard that is entirely his own, frequent romps in the park, bubble baths, and undivided attention - and he is thriving in his new home. As hard as it was to let him go, we could not have dreamed of a better place for him to be.
